The health and safety of our customers is our top priority.
When we learn of either a potential exposure or a confirmed positive through an employee or the governing health district, the employee is immediately sent home or directed not to report for their shift. Management then follows up with the individual to understand the timeline of exposure as well as to plan for next steps. Management works closely with the health district to conduct further risk assessment based upon the following criteria:
If employees of Bardenay meet the exposure criteria below, we encourage them to self-isolate for either 7 days with a negative test, or 10 days without testing per CDC & Central District Health guidelines. They will not be able to work for those 7 or 10 days.
If an employee has direct exposure of 10 continuous minutes or greater to someone with COVID-19, or an accumulated time of 15 minutes or more direct exposure to someone with COVID-19 during a shift, and have any of the symptoms listed below, we encourage them to contact a medical professional and self-isolate for 7-10 days. They will not be scheduled to work during this time, and we will work with them to obtain a COVID-19 test.
- Temperature of 100 or above
- Fever
- Cough (not due to allergies or pre-existing condition)
- Sore throat
- Shortness of breath
- Loss of smell or taste
If an employee does not meet any of the criteria above, they are deemed eligible to work. Our program adheres to the strictest guidance coming from the CDC as well as Central District Health and Panhandle Health.
